CITY GRAND MASTER ATTENDS IMPERIAL CONFERENCE 2009
Victor Wray the current City Grand Master of the City of Londonderry Grand Orange Lodge recently attended the Imperial Conference 2009 in Belfast.
Commenting on the event Wor Bro Wray said:
"It was fantastic to hear the views of all the Orangemen around the
World and to represent the Brethern from the City of Londonderry. We were
able to discuss what way to take the Orange Order forward worldwide and
one thing we are doing is to setup up a www address for the Orange Institution
that will be a portal of information and data on the movement across the
globe. We were able to raise the issue of parading and I asked questions
about how we can raise the profile of the Order in a positive way using
PR techniques so that we can make the Order more acceptable to the whole
community."
